(Raleigh, NC) - Manulife Financial, a leading Canadian-based financial services company, is pleased to announce the completion of the 2007 Cycling Team roster. For 2007 the team has expanded the roster to include a much stronger range of international talent.The 2007 roster will be headlined by Jonathan Hamblen (formerly NERAC Pro Cycling) and Hugh Moran (formerly AEG/Toshiba/Jet Network). The addition of Hamblen and Moran will provide the team with a pair of seasoned veterans who have both experienced podium success at many of the NRC’s most prestigious events.
The team is also happy to announce the addition of international talent to the roster with the signings of Michael Müller and Ken Johnson. Both Müller and Johnson are former national champions. Ken Johnson won the 2003 Canadian National time trial championships while Michael Müller includes a Swiss U-23 cyclocross national title in his lists of palmarès. Other notable new signings include Mark Hardman; winner of the 2006 collegiate national Div I road race and omnium and Jacob Fetty (formerly NERAC Pro Cycling).
The team’s management are also pleased to announce the addition of Joe Coddington as team director. Coddington currently resides in Asheville, NC and brings 24 years of racing experience to his role as team director. Coddington is a vetran of some of the most notable and sucsessful racing programs in US cycling history. The team will be competing in many of 2007’s top NRC and UCI races in the US and Canada.
